The St Mary's Laidley school community came together in a solemn ANZAC liturgy to honour the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of our servicemen and women.
A heartfelt thank you to Col Johnson for attending again—his 8th year of generously sharing his powerful stories and embodying the true spirit of ANZAC. We are deeply grateful for his presence and wisdom.
Further in a very special story, our Grade 5 class were lucky enough to create an ANZAC wreath full of flowers and some very special pinecones. The flowers came from a family farm in Tasmania, and the pinecones came from a tree which was planted with seeds which had fallen from a tree in Gallipoli.
Let's continue to honour and remember—Lest We Forget.
